Podcast number three! If you’ve missed our previous discussions you can find our first here and our second one here.
In this podcast, Nicholas Graham and I look at a collection of sixteen ghost stories from a brilliantly talented indie writer – Nicholas Foster.
Both of us are very much in agreement that Mr Foster is a writer more people should know about. His ghost stories are very different to the usual fare and perfect for our current wintry nights.
We compare these stories to works by Dahl and Asimov, among others and then talk about a few of our favourite stories from Foster’s collection.
Apologies in advance for the odd glitch or two!
Some of the books mentioned in the review are:
- The Consul from Tunis by Nicholas Foster (you can read my review of the original version of this book here)
- Tales of the Black Widowers by Isaac Asimov (you can read my review of this here)
- The Collected Short Stories of Roald Dahl
