So, as I promised in my Welcome page, I want to use this blog to share resources with other writers as I come across them.

World Readers’ Award

This looks like an interesting venture that I might just take up myself. Although there is no cash prize as such, if you are looking for ways to build up your portfolio and just get published, this could be a worthwhile venture. I particularly like the fact the organisers don’t care where in the world you come from or what genre you write – I wonder how that will work out!
